C.M.B. Wrench


The June 17, 1909 edition of The Iron Trade Review carries the incorporation announcement for C. M. B. Wrench Company.  Founders noted are W. Barton Coe, Charles Miller, and James J. Boyd.

This is an advertisement from January 9, 1907 edition of The Horseless Age showing a very similar socket wrench set made by the Miller Combination Tool Co.  Here is another advertisement from 1906.  The set is referred to as "Auto Universal Socket Wrenches." The incorporation of the Miller Combination Tool Co. was announced in the March 25, 1906 edition of Hardware.  Officers noted were Levi Elsohn, L. L. Silverman, William Joel and David Grody.  NOTE: In February of 1910, Levi Elsohn sued the Syracuse Wrench Company for non payment of royalties due for tools produced against patents sold to the wrench company by Elsohn.
