Here is an early Williams wrench. We can tell it's age by the "A.L.A.M. STD" stamp which stands for "Association of Licensed Automobile Manufacturers". The ALAM was created in 1903 by attorney George Selden which required all manufacturers to pay him a royalty for his patent on the automobile. Henry Ford challenged the patent and in 1911 Ford won. That places this wrench between the years of 1903 and 1911.
