Motley, Thornton N. Company
New York, NY - Listed as a Vise Manufacturer in the 1890 Railroad, Telegraph and Steamship Builders' Directory. Mr. Motley appears to have been a very wealthy businessman during this time. His particular interests were in electric and rail.
In 1903, Iron Age reports he severed his ties with the company and it became Motley, Green & Company. James M. Motley (Pres.), Ashbel Green (VP/Treas.), and W. W. Caldwell (Sec.).
